Totems Stats and Standings

The Totems played for nearly 20 years - 16 seasons in the Western League and 1 season in the Central Hockey League - before folding at the end of the 74-75 season. In their 17 years on the ice, the Totems had 9 winning and 8 losing seasons. The Totems won three Western Hockey League championships. Their first championship came in the 1958-59 season. They then won two consecutive Lester Patrick Cups in 1966-67 and 1967-68. The franchise had its' best season when it finished with 39 wins, 26 losses, and 7 ties for 85 points in the championship season of 1966-67. Their worst finish was the 1971-72 season when they won only 12 games, lost 53, and tied 7 for a paltry 34 points. The 71-72 season, however, marked the only time the Totems finished in the basement.
